You can book Alison to perform at your wedding or event as an exotic and unusual cabaret act. In the middle east it is traditional for a belly dancer to perform at a wedding or engagement as a symbol of fertility. The dances are fun and glamourous but also tasteful and in tune with the real folk dance element of belly dance aswell as the glitter of the cabaret style.
Alison has a fun and varied repetoire which she can adapt to suit the mood or theme of the event. She can simply perform some dances or get the party going with some taster sessions afterwards with willing guests. Even children seem to love having a go! However Alison only teaches those willing to have a go and never drags unwilling guests up as perhaps seen on holiday. This just makes some people uncomfortable and Alison’s aim is to ensure that everyone has a great time.
Also if the bride or bridesmaids are interested, Alison can teach them a simple routine in advance to wow the groom and other guests!
Please note that Alison does not perform at all male parties.
