2020/21 Classes

I also teach one to one , so please contact me if you would like tailor-made personal training, drawing on my extensive knowledge of belly dance, core and posture training and yoga.  1 hour is £20 for one individual, and £15 each for 2 or more. 


New regulations for live classes and workshops:  

  1.  Please wait outside the venue until 5 minutes before class, queuing at a safe distance and being mindful of those exiting the building.  I will come and let you know when the room has been sanistised and ready for you.  There should be hand gel available on entry.
  2. Classes and workshops are limited in number so all have to be pre-booked to ensure a place. This means that the Monday and Tuesday evening classes all have to be individually booked, as well as Saturday workshops.  I have to have a list per class of contact details for Track and Trace
  3. All payments to be made either by cheque (payable to Alison Cooklin)  or online through bank transfer ( sort code:  09-01-33  Acc: 39178884 ) or paypal (
  4. Kitchens are off limits so please make sure you bring your water with you.
  5. Each venue will have a dedicated ‘Bellycise’ toilet cubicle.

 Phew. Now onto the actual dates!   


Mondays @ Hillside Community Centre, Stowmarket.

7.15 – 8.45 ( 1 and half hours)  £10 per class.

Belly Bolly Yoga: please bring your own mat or towel.

A lovely mix of belly dance for toning, Bollywood for cardio and yoga for a yummy stretch and cool down.

Dates: October 5 th, 19th,    November 2nd, 16th, 30th,    December 14th.

For 2021….

January 18th,  February 1st, 15th,  March 1st, 15th,  April 12th, 26th.


Tuesdays @ Palgrave Community Centre, nr Diss

Thursdays @ Occold Village Hall

9.30am – 10.30am

Dance Fitness for the over 50’s :  using belly dance techniques and a gentle bit of bollywood too. Low impact.

This class ,for the time being due to the large hall space, will be paid termly still rather than booking per class but no pay-as-you-go ‘drop in’ option due to control of class size/ Track and Trace.
